Q. I was wondering which database is useful to find interviews on people

Select a database covering the discipline in which the individual was prominent. For example, select a business database if the person was a CEO. Type in the person's name and the word interview. Combine these two terms with the word AND. Also, the Lexis-Nexis database is often a good choice.  When searching the Lexis-Nexis Database, use the "Search the News" category and enter the individual's name into the search box.  In the box below, use the drop-down menu to change the Source Type to "Broadcast Transcripts."  This strategy will allow you to search the transcripts of prominent shows that provide interviews of individuals from many walks of life. These include the Charlie Rose Show, Barbara Walters Specials, and the Larry King Show, among others.  Use the Research People Category in Lexis-Nexis for more biographical information about a prominent individual.
